MASTERMADE IN JAPAN
Proudly crafted across storied prefectures in Japan, each honored for a mastery of craft native to that region. FAIZ T.S. is defined by industrial pragmatism, material integrity, and honest craftsmanship.
Built from heavyweight 5-gauge yarn, each sweater is hand-knit by a single artisan over the course of up to 140 hours. Made from 100% Canadian virgin wool sourced from a farm in New Brunswick, each piece is hand-knit in British Columbia by craftswomen of varied backgrounds, including Indigenous Canadian artisans. The dense, robust construction is intended to be worn as an outer layer.
Defined by a bulky waffle-knit structure that runs throughout the body, the sweater has a substantial, deeply textured character that emphasizes the weight and natural qualities of the wool. A contrasting purl-knit collar is finished with genuine horn buttons, while an industrial YKK two-way zipper provides a functional front closure. Side-access pockets are worked into the body to maintain the sweater’s uninterrupted knitted form.
