Japanese Denim Shirting Sewn in the Canadian West

Crafted from a substantial neppy denim woven on shuttle looms in Okayama, Japan. The fabric is raw and textured, with visible cotton nep throughout. It softens with wear, developing depth and character over time.

Constructed in western Canada with a single needle technique, following methods used in early shirting production. Each seam is precise, producing a clean interior finish and measured structure. Finished with a French placket, chosen for its simplicity and balance.

Brass hardware provides contrast and will patinate naturally. Every element is considered, with attention given to proportion and construction rather than embellishment.
