Rooted in Himeji's centuries old tradition of shironameshi tanning, these leather objects are tawed with salt and oil, then kneaded entirely by hand until the hide turns a natural white. Fastened with Japanese giboshi brass studs, each piece is finished to a soft, supple hand for lasting character and quiet refinement.
